CHOOSE YOUR CLASS
ALL CLASSES ARE TWO HOURS LONG AND CAPPED AT FOUR STUDENTS
Students will learn how to correctly grind, tamp and pull shots for optimal results. A discussion surrounding taste will lead to an understanding of under and over-extraction and how to avoid these issues during a shift.
Students will also be taught how to properly shut down an espresso machine after service and basic machine maintenance.
Water, time, temperature, grind and brewing method all impact a cup of coffee. Students will be taught how to navigate these variables and adjust them for optimal taste while getting hands-on experience with both immersion and pour over techniques.
Our trainer will work with students to develop the basic ratios for a consistent cup of coffee using your equipment and beans.
Understand how to properly work with dairy and non-dairy milks. Students will learn best practices for steaming milk and achieving optimal texture for free pouring. Every student will have a chance to free pour hearts and rosettas under the guidance of our trainer. The goal of this class is to give students the tips and tricks they need to improve their milk skills during a shift.
Build your own class. Tell us what you would like to learn and we’ll work on a curated curriculum for your cafe. This class could range from coffee theory and roasting fundamentals to work station cleaning and equipment maintenance or efficient work flow practices.
