Be a positive, effective communicator with customers and their coworkers
Be able to be on their feet for many hours, lift 25 to 40 lb boxes or bags, move very quickly, have a sense of urgency, think ahead, and be alert to customers’ needs
Maintain a clean working environment. Will be expected to pitch in, help out, keep busy, participate, engage, think, feel and be in the moment
Must also be capable of working with equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, ice machines, coffee brewers, hot water towers, as well as cold brew methods, tea brewing
Help maintain Espresso Cielo’s beautiful cafe by ensuring its cleanliness - sweep and mop floors as needed, maintain restrooms, clean doors, windows, display cases and counters, and wash dishes throughout the day
One year of experience in a third-wave espresso bar
Latte Art skills are required
An enthusiasm for the culture of coffee and want to grow the culture
Love the flow of a good team that stays organized and clean
Have a love for working in a place where their goal is to make people smile and say yum when they taste their coffee
Have a valid and current ServSafe Food Handler's Card or Management Certificate, and follow food-safe practices.
*If you don't have a current card or certificate, you must obtain one within the first week of work.
Salary is $14.00-$17.00/Hour based on experience
