At Le Marais Bakery, they make all of their pastries and viennoiserie from scratch each day in their San Francisco kitchen. Their croissants are small batch crafted with a combination of local and French butters and freshly milled organic flours from Central Milling. Their doughs are made with all-natural, house-made starters and long fermentation periods. Filled with farm fruits and Valrhona chocolate, pastries offer twists on tradition, and they also offer several gluten free pastries, from seasonal macarons to chocolate bouchons. They are proud to work with some of the best farms in their area, including Tomatero Organic Farm, Star Route Farms, Early Girl, and Straus Family Creamery.


Le Marais Bakery has just opened a new 3,000 square foot state-of-the-art commissary in the Lower Polk area of San Francisco with a beautiful, large cafe space in the front where customers can enjoy their coffee with croissants that were made only a few feet away! They will be serving coffee and pastries out of the front café space of their commissary for the first few months and will eventually begin to serve brunch in the coming months!

They are seeking baristas and counter servers to serve our amazing customers in a new neighborhood and to carry on the gracious and generous Le Marais hospitality they have crafted from their two other locations. Positions at our other two locations are available upon request. Le Marais Bakery and Bistro, an artisanal French bakery, is looking for barista and counter of all levels. Experience is preferred (especially with latte art!), but not necessary. They offer training with specialty Verve coffee on La Marzocco espresso machines.

  • Latte art skills

  • A knowledge and passion for coffee, food, and hospitality

  • Experience in a high volume, fast paced service environment

  • A commitment to being reliable, punctual, and to adhere to our dress code

  • A current Food Handlers card (they can work with you to obtain one!)


Salary is $15/Hour + Amazing tips
