Role

White Bison Coffee is looking for a Full-time Coffee Manager!

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes operational initiatives that are in line with budgetary goals

  • Ensures efficient and profitable business performance by growing sales, managing inventory levels, labor, & supplies

  • Provides coaching and training to shift supervisors and baristas, displaying best practices and leading by example

  • Continually ensures all product offerings and procedures are followed and of the highest quality / standard

  • Maintains proper team member coverage by scheduling according to the needs of the business and identifying hiring deficiencies

  • Willing and able to perform any/all store duties at a mastery level and is never hesitant to jump in as needed

  • Understands each piece of the business, and how/when it’s needed to adjust certain expenses to line up with budgetary goals

  • Effectively communicates expectations to create a transparent and inclusive work environment

  • Coaches, counsels and develops team members by identifying specific performance objectives and continually monitoring progress

  • Builds an inclusive work environment where all team members feel valued, their input is encouraged, and open/transparent communication is standard

  • Maintains a clean, fully stocked store, following visual marketing plans and initiatives

  • Utilizes customer feedback to continually elevate the quality of service provided

  • Performs regular QA audits, pull, document and discard products as necessary

  • Ensures all team members have been given the tools and training necessary for success in their roles

  • Promotes and practices safe work habits and is responsible for identifying any potential safety hazards, team member or customer incidents, and operational deficiencies.

Ideal Team Member

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Not easily overwhelmed when handling many different tasks while maintaining a 100% guest focused demeanor

  • Proficient computer skills, very comfortable with programs such as MS Word, Excel and the Google Suite

  • Analytical thinker that can multi-task, delegate and lead with ease in a high-volume environment

Requirements

  • 3 years retail management experience required, preferably in the coffee industry

  • College degree preferred, but not required

  • Proficient computer skills, very comfortable with programs such as MS Word, Excel and the Google Suite

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and task driven

  • Practical problem solving / decision-making abilities

  • Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills
